Dads / Partners

Welcome to the Children Growing Up in Liverpool (C-GULL) study!

As a dad or partner, your involvement in this study is crucial for our understanding of complex health issues and the early life origins of health and wellbeing. By taking part in this study, you'll be helping us to gather important information about you and your family that will benefit future generations, both locally and internationally.

C-GULL is a flagship birth cohort study that aims to follow the lives of 10,000 first-born babies and their families in the Liverpool City Region. The study will collect information about your child's development, the family environment, and the physical and mental health of you and your partner.

Your participation in this study will provide valuable insights into the factors that contribute to the health and wellbeing of families, and will help us to identify ways to support parents and children in the future. By joining C-GULL, you'll be part of a community of families who are committed to making a positive impact on the health of future generations.

The involvement of dads and partners in the C-GULL study is crucial to gaining a full understanding of the many factors that shape a child's health and development. Research has shown that the support and involvement of fathers can have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of both the child and the mother. By participating in C-GULL, dads and partners have the opportunity to contribute to a study that will have a lasting impact on the health of future generations, and help researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of child health and development. By participating in this study, dads and partners can play an important role in shaping the future of child health and wellbeing.
